Identify IM&TE out-of-tolerance conditions and perform corrective action via adjustments, component replacement, correction factors, etc.  Identify and correct measurement errors, as applicable.

*Survey and address actual pole position and communication utilities using the latest in GPS/GIS equipment. Inspect utilities using engineer drawings and blueprints.  Inspect that fiber optics and/or other utilities are placed according to FCC, federal, state and local regulations and codes.   Prepare make ready field notes for pole loading according to walkout inspections of current utilities and their attributes.  Work with different municipalities in the placement of new utilities as a Technical Expert/advisor alongside our National Sales Group to ensure no over reach on either part; eventually becoming a more integral partner in the sales field.  Direct proper crews throughout various construction processes.

Troubleshoot from the field all problems that may arise before, during and after the construction process; this may include re-routing new utilities underground or aerial, mapping entirely new route and working with proper authorities on new route for proper permitting and working with other utility companies for new pole change outs if and when necessary.

Other responsibilities include; splicing fiber optics at various points throughout, testing utilities for proper continuity using OTDR, power meter and light source and adjusting from the field to address any/all concerns on loss or gain.
